Mexico City, Mexico, cob 4 reales, Philip V, assayer not visible (1714 J), with "Sumenep" in Malay Arabic and Hijri date "230" (1230) in incuse countermarks for Madura Island, Indonesia (1/2 real batu, 1814). KM-196.1. 13.02 grams. Both countermarks full and bold, the host rather worn (Good or so) but richly toned, with most of shield ("new" style) and one full lion ("old" style), attempted hole near point on reverse. Pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection of Mexican silver cobs, accompanied by original tag or holder.
