Mexico City, Mexico, cob 2 escudos, 1714J, from the 1715 Fleet, possibly finest known. S-M30; KM-53.2; CT-350. 6.8 grams. Highly lustrous and fully Mint State (probably MS-64), with razor-sharp details that include a choice full date and oMJ and cross, no problems at all, best we have ever seen. From the 1715 Fleet, with original Fisher tags and photo-certificate #NCB-MOE4423 and 1994 letter from Frank Sedwick referring to the quality of this coin as "you will find none higher."
