Mexico City, Mexico, 8 reales "blackie" (thickly oxidized, as found), probably Philip V, assayer not visible. KM-47. 27.81 grams total. A thick chunk of puffy black oxidation weighing enough to contain an 8 reales (with a small piece of its thin edge exposed), one side with a patch of gray-white encrustation. From the Capitana El Rubi, found by Art McKee. Recovered from: Spanish 1733 Fleet, Florida Keys
