Handsome strike on a somewhat oversized planchet, with full legends and interiors, unusual three-dot stop in reverse legend (unlisted in Nesmith), probably from the "Golden Fleece wreck" (ca. 1550) Pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection of Mexican Charles-Joanna Coinage (stated on label).
