Darkly toned, struck on an ample-sized planchet, full legends and details, probably from the "Golden Fleece wreck" (ca. 1550). Pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection of Mexican Charles-Joanna Coinage (stated on label). Accompanied by original tag or holder.
