Mexico City, Mexico, 4 reales, Charles-Joanna, "Late Series," assayer A/G to right, mintmark M to left, extremely rare. N-unl (58 for type); S-M6; CT-unl (Type 58). 13.4 grams. Perfectly round flan with full legends and superb inner details, struck slightly off-center, XF+ with light toning all over, touch of corrosion at edge. Note: this over-assayer (which is clear on this coin) is not even mentioned by Nesmith. Pedigreed to the Kent Ponterio collection (Ponterio auction of August, 2009, lot #9156).
