Mexico City, Mexico, 4 reales, Charles-Joanna, "Early Series," assayer P/R at bottom between pillars, motto in rhomboid panel. Nesmith-unlisted; Cal-70 type; S-M4. 13.02 grams. Full inner details with wear or weakness but no corrosion, lots of bold legend, nicely toned. Important because of its die match to assayer-R coinage. "Golden Fleece wreck," sunk ca. 1550 in the northern Caribbean
