Mexico City, Mexico, 4 reales, Charles-Joanna, "Early Series," assayer P/R (Latin) at bottom between pillars, PLVS in right-leaning rhomboid panel, rare. Nesmith-unlisted ; S-M4; KM-17. 12.2 grams. Solid coin despite localized corrosion, toned around details, with nearly full legends, full shield and crown, bold assayer that is either P/R or is a P modified into an R, rare either way. Recovered from: "Golden Fleece wreck," sunk ca. 1550 in the northern Caribbean
