Nesmith-unl; CT-107 type; S-M1. 6.6 grams. Superb example of early assayer R variety with almost all Gothic lettering (except D and O) on a broad flan with full details, lustrous and only lightly toned here and there. Pedigreed to our Auction #2 (lot #25, "Golden Fleece wreck") and to the Ponterio auction of August 2009 (lot #9087, Kent Ponterio collection) and to the Isaac Rudman collection. NGC #2789249-016.
