Medium iron cannonball ("12-pounder") from Fort Ticonderoga, New York, with British Naval broad arrow mark (rare), American Revolutionary War (ca. 1777). 11 lb 7 oz, 4" in diameter. Very solid ball with minor surface pitting, very bold broad arrow mark, which is somewhat rare on ordnance like this because its application bore extra cost that was not always approved or justified.
