Curiously oblong flan with superb full cross-lions-castles (contrastingly toned) oriented on the bias, the straight-axis shield full but weaker from corrosion, mintmark not visible but distinctive type (rare, especially from a shipwreck). With original photo-certificate ASS/TH/7110 from the salvor. Recovered from: Association, sunk in 1707 off the Isles of Scilly, southwest of England
