MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Philip V, 1740 MF, double struck (rare). Yonaka-M8.40; KM-103; Cal-1456. 26.67 grams. Bold AU with lustrous fields, areas of dark "horn silver" and a few pits and marks (possibly from the Hollandia shipwreck of 1743), but probably unique as showing a complete bounced strike on the pillars side, something that rarely occurred with milled coins.
