MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Philip V, 1738/7 MF, rare, ex-Brameld, ex-Lane. Yonaka-M8.38a; KM-103; Cal-1448. 26.49 grams. Practically corrosion-free with AU- details, bold overdate, small and slightly out-of-round flan (as made), mostly silvery but with one golden patch, quite nice for this wreck. Pedigreed to the David Brameld Collection and the W.H. Lane auction of November 1977 (lot 386b), with original certificate. Recovered from: Hollandia, sunk in 1743 off the Isles of Scilly, southwest of England
