MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Philip V, 1733/2 MF, small crown, very rare, ex-Eidel. Yonaka-M8.33D3; KM-103; Cal-1439. 26.83 grams. Broad flan with full rims and sharp AU+ details despite traces of minor surface corrosion and many little bumps and nicks, much remaining luster, additionally desirable as a very rare overdate (only traces of under-digit visible, matching photo in Yonaka). Pedigreed to the Charles Eidel Collection (Sedwick Auction 20, with original lot-tag 496), with photo-certificate. Recovered from: Spanish 1733 Fleet, Florida Keys
