Broad flan with bold details despite moderate corrosion all over, lightly toned, oddly doubled date due to oxidation, highly desirable first milled dollar of the New World and additionally desirable for its original 1967 salvage pedigree. Accompanied by a custom Capital Plastic holder that says 1732 PILLAR DOLLAR oM MEXICO CITY MINT oM F ASSAYER / SALVAGED OFF THE FLORIDA COAST IN 1967 BY DIVER WALTER HOLZWORTH, also with an original (small) certificate hand-signed by Mel Fisher and Walter Holzworth in 1965 for a 1715-Fleet grapeshot (not present).
