MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Ferdinand VI, 1755 (MM), mated with a Mexican Philip V pillar 8 reales reverse to make a cigar lighter, ex-Brameld. 39.67 grams total. The ultimate collectible for the cigar-smoking pillar dollar collector! One side is a 1755 pillars side and the other is the shield side of an earlier type, both in AU grade with deep rainbow toning, with silver ring in between to contain a small amount of lighter fluid, wick at top with rotating cover and flint-wheel (currently not functional but possibly reparable), unique and quite interesting as a numismatic antique. Pedigreed to the David Brameld Collection.
