MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Charles III, 1761 MM, cross below I, old globes with arc below crown, new support on left crown, ex-Brameld. Yonaka-unl; Cal-1076; KM-105. 26.59 grams. Lightly toned VF with Asian graffiti below QUE, old scratches and hairlines, die-crack to right of king's name, desirable to a specialist as apparently a new (and probably rare) variety with shield side of Yonaka-M8.61f (cross below I) but pillars side of Yonaka-M8.61b (old globes). Pedigreed to the David Brameld Collection.
