MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Charles III, 1760 MM, with many clear Asian chopmarks, ex-Brameld. Yonaka-M8.60b; Cal-1073; KM-105. 26.57 grams. XF or so, very lightly toned, with ten distinct but unidentified chops on the pillars side (only) believed to be non-Chinese and more like countermarks in nature (raised inside boxes, etc) but clearly Asian characters. Pedigreed to the David Brameld Collection.
