MEXICO, Mexico City, impressively encrusted clump of at least four cob 8 reales, Philip IV, one clearly dated 1624/3 (D). S-M18a; KM-45; Cal-1302. 337 grams total. Roughly 4" x 2½" x 2½". Very impressive clump with choice coins, one of which displays a bold date plus another with a nice full cross facing outwards, all connected to a large lump of white matrix with a rusted iron patch on one end and, given the size, possibly more items or coins inside. With small photo-certificate. Recovered from: "Lucayan Beach Wreck," sunk ca. 1628 off Grand Bahama Island
