MEXICO, Mexico City, gold cob 1 escudo, Philip V, assayer not visible, style of 1702-10, ex-1715 Fleet, mounted shield-side out in unique 14K gold ring (size 7) with diamonds. 19.35 grams. Unique and beautiful custom-made piece with a gold-and-diamond coral design reaching out to surround the offset coin, which itself is quite nice and lustrous, its off-center obverse on top showing bold king's ordinal V and partial king's name, the cross side on bottom visible enough through the "coral" to note that it is the "box-end" type that lasted through 1710 only. From the 1715 Fleet.
