MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales, probably Philip IV, assayer not visible, stack of three coins embedded in a chunk of coral, as found. 216 grams. roughly 5" x 3" x 1". Three solid coins (cleaned) in a tight stack teetering on the edge of a thick chunk of white coral tinged with green, very impressive. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
