MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales "greenie," probably Philip V, assayer not visible, half cleaned, ex-Bruce Ward. 25.74 grams total. Long, urn-shaped flan with good full cross visible (lightly corroded) on the cleaned side, the other side with lovely crust of green and tan and tiny shell-bits, very neat. Pedigreed to the Bruce Ward Estate (Cargile auction of December 2019, lot 230), with original photo-certificate and new photo-certificate after partial cleaning. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
