MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales, Philip V, (1714) (J), new style shield, old style cross. S-M22; KM-47; Cal-1401. 25.58 grams. Bold partial shield and clear denomination dot-8-dot plus first part of king's name, cross a bit flat but mostly visible, interesting pairing of the new style shield design to the old style cross, patchy black encrustation. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
