Round flan with peripheries typically flat from uneven thickness and beveling (as made), full cross with exaggerated fleur-tips (early 1630s), full shield and oMD, minimal localized surface corrosion, nicely toned. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
