Choice and practically uncorroded (with Grade 1 sticker) with bold full oMD/F, full shield, clear denomination 8, and nice full cross-lions-castles, just a bit flat in peripheries from uneven thickness and natural cupping, lightly toned, a premium piece from this wreck. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 11, with original lot-tag 315 and original (generic) certificate from the salvors. Recovered from: São José, sunk in 1622 off Mozambique, east of Africa
