Super-sharp full shield with luster below full crown that was struck on a folded-over piece of edge, bold oMF and denomination 8, full legends with neat error in king's name consisting of two I's for an H and another I for an L, also with two I's for H in HISPANIARVM and five-petal rosette spacers in reverse legend, lightly toned with a few darker spots, fully Mint State in our opinion but accompanied by NGC tag 6500520-002 AU55. Pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection (Sedwick auction 33, with original lot-tag 452 and Hubbard's original tag) and to the Rob Woodside Collection.
