Broad, somewhat oval flan with full cross and shield (the latter slightly off-center) but peripheries flat, thin from corrosion but overall choice for this wreck, lightly toned. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Het Huis te Cruyenstein, sunk in 1698 off South Africa
