MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales, Charles II, assayer not visible, neat shape, ex-1715 Fleet, mounted cross-side out in 14K gold pendant with shackle bail. 32.25 grams total. Very interestingly shaped cob with bold partial cross, some upper shield and crown detail on the other side, dull gray surfaces with very little corrosion, secured in a custom-wrapped bezel following the coin's unique shape.
