MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 4 reales, Philip V, assayer not visible (J), style of 1712-14, ex-1715 Fleet, mounted shield-side out in 18K gold bezel with shackle bail. 10.73 grams total. Unusually shaped coin, lots of corrosion on sea-washed cross side, set in a dainty high-karat, square-wire bezel with maker's signature partially visible, teardrop bail on top. From the 1715 Fleet, with original Cobb Coin Co (Fisher) tag and photo-certificate MFCC-063.
