Sharply five-sided flan with most of shield and cross despite moderate to heavy corrosion and dark, low-contrast toning, desirable with original auction pedigree. Pedigreed to the Sotheby & Co. (London) Association auction of January 1970, with original lot-tag 161 (group lot). Recovered from: Association, sunk in 1707 off the Isles of Scilly, south west of England
