MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 2 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible, ex-Concepción (1641), mounted cross-side out in 14K gold-wire pendant. 8.06 grams total. Rather nice piece, XF overall, with no significant corrosion to note, rather bold partial shield and nearly complete cross, set into a decorative gold wire setting. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
