MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 1 real, Philip V, assayer not visible (J, style of 1712-14), error struck with 2R obverse die, rare, ex-Buddy Martin. S-M22; KM-30; Cal-Type 77. 3.09 grams. Off-center strike with proper-sized cross but oversized shield showing clear denomination 2 to right (mentioned on certificate), the first example we can recall seeing, minimal surface corrosion, a few toned spots. From the Corrigans site (Green Turtle beach access), with photo-certificate from Buddy Martin, who found it in 1994. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
