MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of two cob 8 reales fragments, Philip IV, assayers not visible. KM-45; Cal-Type 319. 34.69 grams. Sandwich of two coins, one nearly intact and displaying a nearly full cross but the other quite fragmented, with lots of orange encrustation in between, the silver a bit shiny from partial cleaning. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
