MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales fragment in chunk of coral, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 54.18 grams total. Roughly 2½" x 2" x 1". Solid cob with bite out of edge due to corrosion though still showing some bold shield detail, securely encrusted in a tan coral piece with bits of pink shells scattered about. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
