MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales and earthenware shard in chunk of coral, assayer not visible. 55.66 grams total. roughly 2¼" x 2" x 1". Very solid and well-preserved coin (cleaned) with good full shield showing, sturdily encrusted onto a similar-size section of thick earthenware, lots of other little debris included, a great little display. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
