MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 4 reales fragment in chunk of coral, assayer not visible. 46.27 grams total. roughly 2¼" x 2¼" x 1". Nearly rectangular section of impacted white shells and coral grasping the edge of a corrosion-chewed coin still with clear partial cross and shield and with verdigris on surface, the round-punch edge-loss oddly characteristic of this wreck. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
