MEXICO, Mexico City, bust 8 reales, Charles III, 1783 FF, ANACS VF 25 ("El Cazador" Shipwreck Label). Yonaka-M8.83; KM-106.2; Cal-1124. A bit corroded on the obverse but with bold portrait and clear date, reverse rather nice, some spotty dark toning in the fields. Note: these Cazador coins are graded by ANACS more on their level of corrosion rather than actual grade; the 1783-dated coins from the El Cazador were AU or Mint State when they sank with the ship. Recovered from: El Cazador, sunk in 1784 in the Gulf of Mexico
