Nesmith-58 type; S-M6; Cal-131; KM-18. 13.48 grams. Lustrous and rainbow toned with charcoal undertones, clear legends and bold full interiors on a broad planchet with tiny edge-split. From the “Golden Fleece” wreck (ca. 1550) and pedigreed to the Sedwick-Downing Collection of Mexican Charles-Joanna Coinage.
