MEXICO, Mexico City, 4 reales, Charles-Joanna, "Late Series," assayer A to right, mintmark M to left (M-A). Nesmith-58 type; Cal-131; S-M6; KM-18. 13.21 grams. Struck on a broad flan with full legends and nice interiors (especially on pillars side), lightly toned with traces of light corrosion at edge only, UNC details, slightly doubled on shield side, minor edge-crack. Recovered from: “Golden Fleece wreck,” sunk ca. 1550 in the northern Caribbean
