Nesmith-unlisted; S-M2; Cal-unlisted; KM-17. 13.24 grams. Broad, round flan with choice full legends and inner details, faint surface corrosion, attractively toned, a nice example of this rare over-assayer. From the "Golden Fleece" wreck (ca. 1550), pedigreed to the Sedwick-Downing Collection of Mexican Charles-Joanna Coinage.
