MEXICO, Mexico City, 3 reales, Charles-Joanna, "Early Series," assayer Gothic R (Rincón) at bottom between pillars, no waves, three-bars denomination, crown outside beads, very rare, NGC F details / env. damage, cleaned, ex-Sedwick-Downing (stated on label). Nesmith-5d type/5d type; S-M1; Cal-114; KM-14. 9.55 grams. Lightly toned with virtually full legends and interiors (softly struck in places), slightly doubled pillars, lettering in legend a mixture of Gothic and Latin.
