Lyon's Kathairon Hair (New York) glass bottle, ex-S.S. Republic (1865). 190 grams. 6½" tall x 2" x 1¼". As stated on the sides of this small, light-green bottle, LYON'S KATHAIRON FOR THE HAIR NEW YORK, the product within was a cure for baldness and gray hair, invented by a German-born chemist named Lyon, the thick bottle completely intact with its cork forever encased within. From the S.S. Republic (1865), with original tag and certificate R-04-02469-BE from the salvors. SOLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE 1715 FLEET SOCIETY.
