Lot of two small items (engraved) made from copper recovered from the HMS Royal George (1782) in 1841. cylinder = 11 grams, 1-1/4" long; medal = 9 grams, 1-1/4" diameter. Copper cylindrical fitting engraved on top with "Foundered August 29, 1782" and "RG" center flanked by British and British Navy flags; medallic piece dislodged from wood it was attached to with inscription "Wood and Copper of the Royal George Sunk 1782 1841," upright lion hoisting a long pike in the center.
