Lot of two Mexico City, Mexico, bust 8 reales, both ex-Bevill: 1796FM (Charles IV) and 1819JJ (Ferdinand VII). Cal-959, 1334; KM-109, 111.. 53.66 grams total. The 1796 is AU with surface hairlines, bright rainbow toning over luster. The 1819 is an interesting coin with evidence of surviving a fire, VF for grade with bubbles and stress cracks in metal, small spots of verdigris on obverse, dark orange color on obverse that lightens on reverse. Both pedigreed to the James Bevill collection (Sedwick Auction 23, lots 1914 and 1916).
