Lot of three items: wooden rigging deadeye, pulley wheel, and copper spike, from the HMS Stirling Castle (1703). 788 grams total, deadeye 4-1/2"diameter, pulley wheel 3-3/4" diameter, spike 3-3/4" long. Of the various parts of the rigging of a wooden sailing ship, perhaps the most recognizable is the deadeye, with three worn holes in middle perpendicular to the groove around the perimeter, this example intact but worn. Coupled with a small wooden pulley wheel in good condition and a copper spike with admiralty broad arrow mark, these artifacts are great for a nautical display. From HMS Stirling Castle (1703), with photo-certificate.
