Lot of three brass buckles, ex-Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724). 32 grams total. 1½" to 2½" wide, ¼" to ½" tall. Intact rectangular buckles of various sizes and design, two with a horizontal bar in the middle and one without (used for shoes and straps, not waist belts), all in very good condition with minor pitting. From the Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
