Lot of three Mexican silver cobs (two 8R and one 4R), Charles II, assayer L (where visible). 51.18 grams total. One of the 8R is very solid for this wreck, with sharp points on edge (rhomboid shape) yet typically weak details, the other thin from corrosive wear yet with most of shield and cross, the 4R with good full cross. Recovered from: Joanna, sunk in 1682 off South Africa
