Lot of four colonial notes: Maryland, 1/6 dollar, March 1, 1770, serial 17707; New York, 5 pounds, April 2, 1759, serial 12368; New York, 5 shillings, Feb. 16, 1771, serial 11526; Pennsylvania, 3 pence, Oct. 25, 1775, serial (?)91. Fr-MD-50, NY-156, NY-161, PA-181 . All grade Good to Very Good. The Maryland note is split in three with holes from past sewing together, reverse with mounting residue and paper pulls. The New York 5 pounds has residue on it while the New York 5 shillings is backed with manila paper. Finally, a single pinhole is noted in the Pennsylvania bill. Personal inspection recommended; no returns on this lot. Pedigreed to the Henry D. Osborne collection.
