Lot of four Guatemala "moclon" 2 reales, with crown countermarks (1662) on Lima, Peru, cob 2 reales of Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre (2) and on Potosi, Bolivia, cob 2 reales of Philip II, assayers L and B, ex-Richard Stuart. CT-type 175. 23.42 grams total. Worn hosts (VG) with full or nearly full countermarks (Types A and B), a good little "type set" consisting of two of each host mint with crown on each side for both pairs, the Potosi assayer L (actually L/L) rather clear. Pedigreed to the Richard Stuart collection.
