Lot of eight brass / gilt brass / silver US "so-called dollars," Panama-Pacific International and Panama Canal Completion Exposition medals, 1914-5, San Francisco and San Diego, Calif. HK-415 (3); 415A; 416; 426; 428 (2). 137.30 grams total. Medals of various designs but all commemorating the completion of the Panama Canal, most XF-UNC (Tower of Jewels / Minerva without cartouche example being VF), some with spots of verdigris and/or light hairlines, the two proof-like battleship / Minerva examples and the silver Uncle Sam / chip medal being scarcer pieces.
